Om Mani Padme Hum (Tibetan sanskrit meaning The Jewel in the Lotus). It's to remind us that like the human experiences of life the lotus can grow out of the slime and muck and still can blossom into a beautiful flower with a golden crown in it's center. We can all come from a rough past or upbringing but we all still hold that jewel that can blossom in side us.
I have one wave left. You can see on you website www.troycarney.com what is left. When you click on a painting you will see the title and info below. If it has a black dot like this • at the end, it means it's sold. There is only one large wave left called Nalu Kai. I'm just starting a new piece that will be a Gold Wave painting for the 2011 Triple Crown Surf Contest on Oahu here in Hawaii. I will hopefully have it up here to view by the 4th of march.
Thanks Kilocopter. Yeah your right, no waves in the Tibet. That's what make's this piece weirdly different. They find Conch Shells in the Himalayan Mountains that the Tibetan monks use and the finest Sea Salt in the world from when the Himalayas when it was all an ancient sea bed. If there was an ocean with mountains popping out......there was waves. But that's not what this piece is about. This one in breaking right now in my brain
